New to the forum so not sure where to post this.

If this is in the wrong area of the forum, apologies please move it to where it needs to be.

I have two air filter boxes that came off my 2009 late 4.3 V8V with 22k on the clock from new.

I'm told these normally come off damaged as they sit fairly low down under the headlights and are quite large cumbersome units. Mine apart from a few light scuffs are in very good condition and do not have the usual trademark cracks etc.

I am looking to sell them to an interested party and can send photographs etc. But at present am gauging reaction, if no interest I will keep them.

Please let me know if there is interest.

I might be interested if I can confirm they fit a 2010 V12V - I believe the filters are the same.

How much are you looking for pls?

Hi, if you can confirm they fit then make me an offer. The filters still sit inside the boxes, not taken them out.

As I'm new to this forum I'm not sure if we can exchange contact details over a private message or not. If so, then I can send you photographs to make sure you are happy with the condition.

They are quite large to post but maybe able to find a box large enough.

Where are you in the country?

You are round the corner from me, I'm near Yatley.

I had AHM fit some GT8 filters amongst other upgrades. If you know Adie at AHM, I'm sure he would vouch for their condition.

Only taken off last week.

Would be happy to drop off with PayPal payment to sort money out.

Let me know.

This source state they fit V8 and v12 vantage: https://astonparts247.com/product/v8-v12-vantage-d...

But Scuderia parts suggest not as it has a different part number 8D33 9600 BA and twice the price of the V8 items

I will pass, apologies.

Not a problem, sorry they don't appear to fit.

I spoke to AHM and while the boxes are the same size the V12 engines and I think the N400/430/Vantage S have a remote flap that opens to allow more airflow in.

So you are correct they won't fit.

Twin plate clutch with lightened flywheel, 200 cell cats, gt8 air filters, remap.

Makes a difference not only in the car being quicker, makes slightly more noise but only on full throttle, driving round town and part throttle motorway driving its no noisier.

The twin plate clutch makes a huge difference, way lighter pedal, better traction making slow town and traffic driving much more enjoyable.

I'm more than happy with the advice I took and the workmanship AHM have done.

I am a bit of a perfectionist so if I wasn't happy it would have gone straight back and Adrian is aware of this.

If you are OK with meeting locally in a safe manner then happy to let you have a look, listen etc.

I did not rush this decision and read up a lot and took advice from others locally before going with AHM. I even spoke to a guy in France that brings his Vantage over for AHM to carry out routine work his car.
