Thought I'd stick a few pics up for your amusement(!). Constructive critique is welcome, please be nice. It's my first post in here!!

Hope you like them. There is more of my work at www.cloud34.com (Not a plug, but a genuine look for some feedback on my piccies!)

Not working here either. Try putting the 'pic' tag around them, but either way, I am getting link not found...

Some nice work there. I liked the fire hydrant one that you had on the gallery site, and the first two you posted here. Reminded me of one of mine:

Must say in my opinion you haven't posted your best ones here - some lovely shots in the gallery, particularly a couple of the St. Pauls ones;

Get rid of the car in the foreground to really finish it off, and I'd be well pleased with that one!

I've got some without the car in the foreground, I love the fact that it's there. I can post some of those. My fave in the gallery is st pauls 1a, the one from the bridge with the red colour in the middle. Got that blown up to about 3 foot wide on my living room wall and it looks really smart IMHO

I'd agree with you, keep the car in, not the most glamourous of vehicles in itself but its in a very good position and helps add context to the image.

Simpo says: Dump the car! Great shot ruined by an ugly old banger.

Here is one without the car. The nice thing with this one is you can see all the phases of the traffic lights.

How about this? Rotate 2 degrees c/w to make St Paul's vertical, a few tricks to make b/w, crop to lose LHS, enlarge to 750 px wide, sharpen and spot colour on lights...

Don't know if I like it without the colour, like the highlight on the lights, but I think the rest of it is lacking without any colour in it.

I have to admit, when I'm not over-saturating my shots, I love B&W.
