What would you lot pay for a 2003 330d sport saloon with 56k genuine serviced and warranted miles on the clock?

Reputable dealer too not some chap on your local boozer car park

It's a good spec and in very good condition the tiniest patch of rust on one of the inner arches which I'm hoping can be stopped at source and treated, full leather, Harman Kardon and factory nav which is dog **** to be honest but it is 17 years old!

I paid £4900 which I thought was decent but I would like some further opinions

There's a thread going re pricing for an equivalent 330i

Personally at that price point, I'd expect the body to be spot on with no rust.

Is your plan to daily it?

IMO you've bought it now; enjoy it for what it is and don't worry about what you've paid.

It's a low mileage touring that are hard to come by and if it's in the condition it's as described, with a small amount of corrosion to sort; IMO you've done well.

They're far & few between, more so with such low mileage!

No point on dwelling on what's been paid etc; you'll only do your nut in if you keep thinking like that

As above.

You've bought it now, so that's job done.

However, if it's rust free and in a decent colour way, then the spec seems better than most and it's probably not overly expensive. A nice E46 330d is a lovely thing. I'm assuming it's the facelift 204bhp car given the plate?

Either way, just use it and enjoy it. I've had 6 E46 330d's over the years and they're great cars.

It's too late now - just enjoy it!

And FWIW I don't think that is silly money - try to find another one like that.

Have to say I am surprised at the prices of low mileage E46's at the moment, with this thread and the other one.

They do seem to have jumped in value over the last few years.

I'm not going to complain, I have a 325i saloon, silver with black leather. It's jut clicked over the 100k miles so it's not that high, but does have the classic rut on the arches, which I am hoping to sort out at some point this year.

A year ago I would have said that was very strong money, but it appears that's not really the case now.

I was thinking as I opened the thread "about £5,000", so at least we are both wrong!
