Just been quoted £825.00 Full Comp with Endsleigh through confused.com. Does anyone know of any specialist Brokers worth trying?

Oh and do all 987 Boxster's have a tracker fitted?

Yes, got a fantastic deal through PEART; ask for Sam.

www.peart.co.uk/

I'm 31 and paying 775 fully comp through them. My wifes 27 and also covered for the money. Really friendly too.

Tracker NOT standard.

I might well give Peart a call. NU Direct won't quote as car value is >£35K.

NU Direct/Superb service! Sounds like an oxymoron to me.

I work in accident management by the way and have to deal with these blighters.

Your quote sounds a bit high. I can also recommend Elephant and E-sure, neither of which insisted on a Tracker. Weird that NU direct wouldn't quote. Heard good things about Sainsbury and Tesco too.

I think (but may be wrong) that Tesco insurance actually is NU direct! They wouldn't quote me online for a £33K car but were happy to quote on the phone.

I guess it all comes down to personal experience. IMHO NU direct were great whenever I had to deal with them, but I know some people get lucky and some don't! Just look at the threads in here about service from OPCs!!!

It depends on so many variables - I'm paying under £500 fully protected for two drivers on a 987S, living in the sticks.

£531.99 (3 drivers, Prot NCD, £520xs) - NU Direct, interestingly considering they wouldn't quote before!

Just got my renewel notice from Admiral for £925 Fully Comp, Business use on a 987 2.7. Married, Kids, 40s, No Claims but living in London and no garage so car on the street. Thought not bad and was about to pay but then gave First Alternative a quick call and got the same deal with more annual mileage for £725 and they don't load for factory fitted options.

Moral, always ring around.

Admiral are terrible for loading for options - they charge extra for metallic. How many premium German cars are not in metallic and how many Admiral customers don't know that this is viewed as a 'modification'?

£500 ish for a a 987S is STUNNING!

Do you have Track Day cover in your insurance, though?

Although that may not matter to you, of course...

[travisbickle] "You talkin to me?" [/travisbickle]

It's £531 for a 987 2.7, not S, without trackday insurance.

£543 for a 986 2.7 (year old £33k), and f a new 987S then 570.

Esure

But be careful - with ANY you must declare every option deviation from std, wheyjer performance enhancing or not, otherwise you'll either invalidate your policy or you'll just get paid back for a std car.

And yes that includes declaring daft things like ruffled leather, crests on seats etc etc etc
