Hi All - does anyone know any reputable garages that specialise in rebuilding or replacing Audi engines? Preferably in the Midlands.

Not the Midlands but JKM and Autobarn down on the south coast have very good reputations.

Midland VW get rave reviews and when I had a VAG many performance builds were done by them (not affiliated in any way):

Thanks mate. Whereabouts is Autobarn? JKM is down in Portsmouth right?

Yep JKM is on the outskirts as you enter Portsmouth. Autobarn is around 8 miles north of Portsmouth.

Cheers mate! I suppose the next question is where can I buy a used Audi engine? Loads of options on Google but any reputable names?

If you're anywhere near Nottinghamshire try Avenue Cars at Mansfield Woodhouse (Web page via google search) Audi trained mechanic John knows his stuff and will put you right, highly recommended.

My advice would be get the installer to source it.
