Morning all.
What is the best way to bring my black leather steering wheel back to looking good again.
It’s worn a bit where hands usually go.
I clean with leather cleaner to get grease of etc but would like to sort of reduce it if possible.
Thanks fir any help.
Dave.

Nice one, thanks for the reply.
What about the worn areas that are less black.
Would a dye be good or mot worth it, or does that stuff lift the colour a bit.
Cheers.

Colourlock products are excellent. They’re leather specialists. I use their products on all my leather bits, including the steering wheel.

Check out this video for more info on steering wheel cleaning:

What car is it we are referring too? and how old is it? mileage? I assume it is leather covered?....unless abused most 'modern' cars have very durable materials.

I've cleaned some cars where the wheel looks worn but is in actual fact just a build up of years of dirthurl..hence the deep clean method suggested will leave you with the true picture.

Cheers,

Chris
