Though on a serious not why is heading considered better for paintwork than sheeting? I’ve never quite got why?

Super resin polish ? Stage 1 complete then. Now the op just needs to glaze, seal and wax his pride and joy.
Hopefully he'll report back and post pictures of the finished article (some time in 2022 when he has regained the use of his arms).
