Youtube videos not playing

Im having problems playing some (not all) YouTube videos in Safari and keep getting the message below.
I'm connected to internet, and some videos do play, never had this problem before.
This has only started happening since I got my new MacBook Air M1 a couple of days ago.
Any idea what might be causing it?

Adblocker doesn't work as expected. Wait some seconds, and the video will load.

The videos that play are the ones that start without an ad.

How did you know I was running AdBlock?

I went into AdBlock settings and by allowing non intrusive ads I can get all videos to play (so far)

Actually, by playing with the AdBlock setting I added the url for Youtube into the 'Manage Allowed Ads', I could then revert back to disabling the non intrusive ads and videos are now back to playing ok. Seems it was an AdBlock issue.

Thanks for following up. Mine (Chromium on Linux) does the same, so I'm going to fix that now

Yeh, I hate it when you find someone has already posted the same problem but never came back with any solution they found.
