Drivestyle, who launched the Spyker supercar in the UK, have bought out Harrogate Horseless Carriages.
Steve Williams, who owns Drivestyle, becomes Yorkshire's only TVR dealer specialist.
The well known TVR showroom on Skipton Road is closed and now Steve's showroom in The Lenz building at Hornbeam will exhibit the very latest TVR designs.
Speaking to the Harrogate Advertiser, Mr Williams said: "I am delighted this has finally happened. We have been talking for about six months. Nigel Kemp has been looking to retire so it was not a forced sale.
"What we do bring to the party are a lot of fresh ideas which the existing staff are looking forward to."
The sales side has moved to The Lenz building at Hornbeam Park, but Steve has retained the Lime Street after-sales and service facility.

Not bad-mouthing or otherwise. Had some dodgy dealings with their service guys in the distant past, but more recently they've been fine. As this move seems to be on the sales side only, I doubt it will change things too much in that direction.
As Williams said, it is a non-hostile takeover, Nigel wanted to retire, and some new blood won't do any harm. If it boosts sales and thus helps protect the marque, all the better, IMHO.
