After years of using iPads I have decided to go along the android tablet route for a change. I have recently bought a Lenovo M10 plus tablet and would like to know if I have to use some kind internet security program with it?

I have never found a need to do so with Android tablets or Android mobile phones and I have been using both for quite a number of years.

No. No need for any active 3rd party programs on any platform these days. Use common sense, and you'll be fine.
