Hello, anybody here with 20“ Virage / DB9.2 wheels on the V8V ? Just curious which tyre pressure is best and if someone got experience with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on these wheels (245/35 ZR20 and 295/30 ZR20)
Cheers

I have.
Only run around 32 psi but I don’t generally run any of my cars on high pressure

I have Pirelli which I’m not blown away with so will change to Michelin when I’m prepared to spend the cash lol

Thank you Milu, have you installed your wheels with the original nuts from the 19“ wheels ? That said, will the OEM nuts from the 19“ 7 spoke wheels will fit the Virage / DB9.2 wheels ?
Cheers

Here you go, 20inch Virage wheels on a V8 Vantage with the Michelin’s too.
I was worried that increasing from 19s to 20s and subsequently reducing the wall height of the tyre would affect the ride in a negative way.
Admittedly the original tyres were bloody awful in every way, the Michelin’s on the other hand have transformed the ride quality. It’s chalk and cheese for the better, there’s just no comparison.
The old fixings were fine too, no need to change them.
And the stance is so much better now that the arches are filled.
If you search a bit, you’ll find plenty cars with this design of Virage wheel, I think it suits the car really well.
Just do it, I’ve encountered no issues.

Thank you for sharing your experience UncleStig. I have Michelin PS4S on my 19“ wheels and love them. Looking forward to my 20“ setup and will post some pics.
Cheers

A few more pics. Looks a bit distorted some how but you get the idea.
I run 5mm hubcentric front spacers otherwise the wheels are a bit sunken.
Then use Transit nuts with extra thread plus chrome nut covers
As noted above, even with Pirelli the ride on these is better than the oem 19” Bridgestone

Is this lowered or standard ride height?

Lowered about 12mm all round. I measured from standard then adjusted accordingly. It looks a bit front low in pics but not in real life. However I haven’t measured for a while so may have settled a bit. If so I won’t drop the back but will lift the front.

That looks stunning, thank you.
