Water pump

Hi guys, my car went in today for a 54000 mile service as some people will know i have had an over heating problem and just received a phone call saying that my water pump is on its way out. They said the head gaskets are fine and everything else seams to be too.

Just some advice needed on how much it will cost for a new one / recon and where best to go in the north west to get one cheap, or nation wide delivery?

Go onto e-bay and search under Rover V8 you will find quite a few up for sale you will need to check the fitting type as there are a number of differant types of fitting.

Slightly less of a gamble (but maybe a little more money) would be to order it from RPI. They can ensure you get the right part, there seem to be quite a few variants to choose from.

About £75 plus post, packing and the dreaded.

No dreaded for me i will fit it myself. Dont like paying people for easy work that i can do myself.

Where is the cheapest place to try? and a contact number if anyone has got one?
