I have an HP Officejet printer at work and a Brother one at home. IN the last week the software pages for both have failed and I can't get them back.
On both cases I have an error image that doesn't respond but it's the same image.

I can't find anything on google yet as it's occurred on 2 completely separate systems it must be generic.
Anyone else?
I've tried reinstalling software, returning to a previous set up etc but no joy. I can scan at work directly from printer but no from the HP solution centre as I always have.
I'm hoping it's windows and a patch will appear soon.

It's Flash, and it's dead. Try HP Smart as a controller application instead.

Which HP Officejet is it? I dumped a 10yr old one a few months ago the software was never Windows 10 compatible - it'd worked (ish) for years but gradually was getting more iffy.

I replaced it was a HP Laserjet and that seems to randomly choose which bit of software to use for printing so I can be preented with one of three different interfaces! It does do network scanning hassle free though - that was a nightmare from day 1 with the Officejet and packed up altogether in the end.

There's more software on the HP site to fix just this it turns out, as long as you know what to search for. HP Scan and Capture seems to work.
