I offer no opinion but would welcome discussion on the subject:

Why post it if you're not offering an opinion?

I'd suggest its nigh on impossible to post something without having formed an opinion about it. You obviously feel negatively about it.

My opinion: They should (and it seems will) be fined the same as everyone else.

I have an opinion but didn't wish to make leading statements.

Quite pleasing to see the officers appear to consider the "risks" to be similar to the sensible majority.

What is however fascinating to me is that I am seeing people on TV currently who all appear to have recent haircuts and I am wondering how/where and why this is acceptable.......... Not least given my hair is now in my eyes!

I am in urgent need of a haircut, just like BoJo. Not going anywhere, so can put up with it for a bit longer and not getting the wife to do it!

With respect to those officers, surely we have more pressing matters to deal with!

LD1 I went back to trimming my own and have stuck with it. 10mins and a better no.2 cut than I got from my barbers!. £15 a time saved as well smile Just make sure your other half doesn't give your balls a tweak as your bent over the bath!! eek Thankfully dropped the trimmers in the bath rather than lost an ear!!

Coincidentally?, today as I was coming back from Sainsburys, 3 women are unlocking a ladies hairdressers shop and going in!? scratchchin Is there a new underground society of LD hairdressers?

No issues with them sitting next to each other in a car for 12 hours but cant get a trim off the same person? If it's done in their own time in a locker room they all share anyway I dont see the problem personally.

As for hairdressers cutting during lockdown it is happening. My Mrs had her hairdresser tell her she was doing home visits and would she want one. Declined!

Hats, that's all you need during lockdown.

Disclaimer, I do not own shares in a hat factory.

They took the risk - they just have to pay up now, the same as your Mrs hairdresser if she gets caught.

Its a bit like the few that were fined in the cafe - they havent got the common sense to not get caught.

They are in close proximity for 12 hours a day, there’s no social distancing in a car or carrier let alone at a violent domestic or the scene of a stabbing let alone breaking up a lockdown party where no one gets fined

Clearly there’s more to this and some form of public complaint I’d imagine

I believe this was done to raise money for charity though
