Does this type of watch strap exist?
Discussion
I have worn watches on nylon for years, normally G10 or similar one piece. They have saved my watches a handful of times.
Problem is, they'll also block the heart rate sensor of my incoming Garmin - so I'm getting nervous. I didn't mind risking a cheapo galaxy watch.
Does a two piece nylon strap with extra material linking the pieces around the side of the case as opposed to under, exist? I.e. if a spring bar pops off it would still be attached.
I know I could bodge one with an existing nato, but I'm sure I have seen and used something similar in the past...

How about a tether attached to standard strap, over your wrist?

I'm sure the reality is sadly different to how that phase can be read.
Thanks all - the spring bars are pretty tough, it's the quick release strap that was worrying me. I've bought a traditional nylon that the spring bars go through. Seems pretty robust!
The landyard idea is a good one...the only similar thing I could find was a thread on Watchuseek from an equally neurotic person!
