Advice on a new car

So I currently own a VW golf gt 1.4L tsi,

It's served me well but I'm looking for a better car.
I've been looking at a mini jcw R56 or an astra vxr gtc.
Which one should I go for?

If you dont get the mini
If you dont need the back seats get an mx5
