I'm sure there was a thread running somewhere on this subject but I couldn't find it, having read the attached news story...

The decision appears to have ruffled a few feathers,as some commented,will more chancers take the risk?

Bad move by the council. They have now set a precedent for others to do the same.

financial hardship to demolish it...!?!? Had enough cash handy to build it, didn't they, that isnt mortgaged!

We have a saying round these rural parts, ......you'll never find a poor farmer.

To be fair, the Council didn't take the financial hardship into consideration.

"Committee members said they could not take financial loss into consideration as action against every building put up without permission would incur financial cost to applicants and they didn’t want to set a precedent."
