So an 80 yo has already received both vaccinations, apparently, (has he jumped the queue?) and is now pronouncing that he feels 'bulletproof'!
I smell BS and a Govt backed propaganda exercise.
Anyone else?

He's been vaccinated because he's 80 and being famous he's a good ambassador to encourage people to get vaccinated.

kS SAKE.A 77-year-old friend had her 2nd vaccination two weeks ago.
What is it with you conspiracy theory lot?
A friend's 87-year-old mum has just died in hospital. Where she contracted Covid.
Another friend's 80 year old mum is currently on oxygen in hospital with Covid. Caught it from her teenage granddaughter who was bored and therefore out and about.
Interesting responses! It seems some of the elderly have receive their double dose by early Jan whereas, hereabouts in the sticks some, including my 98 yo mother, have only just received a first application of the AZ vaccine and has been told to expect the next jab in 12 weeks time.
If they are now 'bulletproof' once vaccinated, as suggested, what's the worry about letting them have visits from friends and relatives?

I'm amazed yet delighted for your Aunt that she was treated so early. Some front line NHS nursing staff in this locale, who I know personally, didn't get a first dose of vaccine until the second week of Jan, and other friends who work in social care, have only just been jabbed.pequod said:

Sounds like you're needled by the lack of needles...Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
