I have one, I’ve had it since August and have done about 2500 miles so far
It’s my first bike, but for me ticks all the boxes for what I wanted
Plenty quick enough for the road, all the tech you need.
Handles superbly, I’m already very confident in the corners and the bike is very easy to lean over, turns in well, feels very sharp and alive.
Brakes are a little wooden. Standard tyres are ok when there warmed up but in the cold and damp give no confidence at all, I changed mine for PR5’s and it transformed the bike.
One thing, the throttle is snatchy, it’s horrible at low speeds, but you do get used to it.

That's what I've read in reviews, I'm not after mega power, just a fun bike to use an enjoy at 'legal' speeds. I've got my old hayabusa that ;-)It’s my first bike, but for me ticks all the boxes for what I wanted

I've been looking at them as I noticed, used, they are dropping below £5k
I was disappointed the suspension wasn't adjustable
My research showed that many had niggles and that a Street Triple R was probably the better used option for the money
I've joined a forum or 2 on FB, there's quite a lot having problems, the concensous seem warranty is needed. Sadly seems poor build quality and poor pre delivery inspection is common. Spoils what appears to be a good fun little bike.I was disappointed the suspension wasn't adjustable

Saying that I've got a couple of dealers I'm waiting for to get back to me re finance, test ride etc
I had one, as already said it’s all you need for road.
Did a few track days on mine with standard suspension and brakes and they’re surprisingly capable on track as well.
Massive fun and great value.
Part ex’d mine but was really torn about letting it go.
A few owners reported issues around leaks but I didn’t have an issue myself although re-routing the coolant overflow is a must to avoid it spitting it’s coolant out if used on track.
As Krise mentioned, the throttle is quite snatchy and remapping with a power commander wasn’t an option when I looked into it.
Workaround is stick it in rain mode in town.
If you’re over 6ft then they can look quite small with a large rider onboard but still comfortable.
Depreciation can be a bit steep, if you buy new at £7.4K then you’re looking at losing about £2k in the first year.
I’d have another tomorrow if I had the space and spare cash.

I've had one dealer saying they'd do a good deal on a used one they had, plus a 2 yr warranty, some really low milage bikes for 5k..... Did a few track days on mine with standard suspension and brakes and they’re surprisingly capable on track as well.

Thinking that might be the way to go.
I have one.
Issues are:
1. Some tft screens crack/ mist
2. some oil leaks around the rocker covers
3. Coolant hose leak
4. A couple had engines go
5. Some had seals between the water pump and engine (I think!)
Great bikes, and yes the depreciation is crippling (as I am finding out). I need to get something more upright and atm cant afford to change, given what the trade prices are.
At £5k you cant go wrong.
