Morning
My 991.1 Turbo S has a flat battery and won't start. Doors etc still open for now.
I've done a quick search but many of the trickle chargers at Halfords etc say max 2L/3L engine capacity or not suitable for stop start.

Can anybody advice on which charger I need please? I need to move the car quite urgently.

Thank you.

I use one of these on my 991.2 911C: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CTEK-MXS-5-0-Reconditions...

Use Prime delivery and you'll have it tomorrow.

Had the same issue with my 992 this week. Used jump leads from another car. Its a real pain, to first open door, then bonnet, but the instructions are in the manual. My jump leads are 3m long which helped as I couldn't open the passenger door

Another vote for CTEK. No other way to go. Mine have all been faultless

Thanks guys.
I forgot that I had Green Flag cover via my bank. They arrived within half an hour and jump started my car and went for an hours ride to charge it up.
I'll probably buy one of those ctek jobbies anyway.

I really need to use the car more, since covid I've hardly used it.

Thanks again!

If a 992 is like a 991 for battery conditioning when you connect Ctek put earth on chassis connection point not straight on battery - post. Something about battery management software which has been confirmed by a Porsche tech.

Mine is a 3.8 and the CTEK MXS5 is fine. I plug it into the 12v socket in the centre console to avoid faffing with battery terminals.
