Having sold my mk7.5 GTI PP last year, I found myself needing a car for 6 months or so. Saw this on FB just down the road. 6 months test,137k, scratch in every panel but 4 matching Michelin x-climates, all for 1/3 of shed budget. Hopefully it will make it to the next MOT!

Very nice. Oddly I've put Crossclimates on my Golf GT. There're quite good and quite expensive (£520)!!

That is a lot! I imagine yours must be slightly bigger than 195/15! A total least they compensate for the fairly tired suspension.

I’m impressed so far- starts, turns, stops, heater works. Can’t really ask more for the money.

Yup. 225x17.


I do like that shape and staring to become popular for modders. I've also been temped into an older Golf but the wife thinks differently!

My misses hates it, though slightly less than my old shed. Though I’m sure her hatred will increase when it breaks/spews fluid on the drive etc
