All,

I completed an online application for a role that's a break away from what I would usually do, but I am very keen to pursue this as I believe I have experience in a similar field etc. etc.

I completed the application online and submitted, however, this morning, I realised that there's a load of other information that I could have included to strengthen/support my application.

Part of me wants to email this through, on the off chance (optimistically) that it may be taken into consideration.....

Seems a lot shot - should I just sleeping dogs lie and suck it up to experience if I fall at the first hurdle?

Thanks smile

I would send an email too even if no info to add. No downside. Hiring manager might reply straight away if he likes your writing style, obviously depends massively on the role.

Thanks Lim - I was thinking of writing to ask whether I could submit some additional information, as opposed to simply sending all the information in.

I'd just frame it as a letter attached to an email explaining why you are interested in the job. Don't say you forgot to include it or anything that could be construed negatively. Do make sure the spelling and grammar is spot on in the letter. Good luck.

If you can call and explain the situation and ask the best method to get any other new or supporting information across.
