Ebookers, praise where its due

Instead of the usual slagging off of unnamed companies, I'm gonna praise ebookers.

I hired a car from Lyon and on the way to Rome I got a call from the hire company asking whether I realised there was a 956E drop off charge! Errm, ebookers had said there was no drop off charge. So rattled some cages. It turned out that ebookers said you don't need to pay it, but if you do, we will refund you.

Apparently it was a computer error on their end which had given their staff the wrong details.

Anyway, refund came through this morning with a voucher against my next trip with them. So just for once, credit where credit is due.

Ok heres another recommendation:

if you need to hire a small van - dont call Apex and book for £39, go online and book it for £25!...(24hr hire)

Damned good value if you ask me!
