Hi Folks, I have a 2012 991.1 Carrera S with 20 inch Carrera Classic wheels.

I would like to lower the car by about 40mm to improve the stance. (More like the GTS)

I'd be grateful for advice on best way to do this properly and without blowing the budget.

Any reason why i should not do this? The car gets mixed road use once a week all year round.

Any advice or thoughts would be much appreciated.

I don't know the exact part number

But my friend is using RPM Technik to lower his using KW adjustable spring lowering kit
It naturally will need a full geo afterwards.

Its a starting point for you

Litchfield are also worth a call. The mods they made for their Carrera T package are transferrable to other 991 models.

GTS only 1cm lower than S (-2 rather than -1). Litchfield further 2cm I believe. Do you have front axle lift if you’re doing this?

Many thanks for the feedback guys! Interesting the GTS is only 10mm lower than a C2S. Makes quite a difference IMHO! I don't have front
axle lift so would have to adjust ride height accordingly.

A 40mm drop is going to make the car look ridiculous.
