If I take a photo or video on my iPhone 6S, what is the simplest, quickest, easiest way to send it/them to someone? As an email?

Photos are not too bad, but it says the video is too big (the file is too large). Is there an easy way round this?

TIA.

Could try WeTransfer. You upload to a portal, put in your and recipients email addresses and they receive a link to click and download.

Plenty of ways to do this, but basically it is a case of uploading to somewhere and sending a link.

If you just want to send the file then Wetransfer is very good, but the file won't be saved there, it is just a temporary place to put it so that the other person can grab it.

For more permanent storage you can use things like Dropbox or MS Onedrive. The file will remain on your (free) account until you delete it.

However, as you have an iPhone there will surely be a free Apple-based (iCloud?) service that does the same kind of thing. I suspect that if you navigate to the video and find the sharing options, one of them will be a cloud storage thingy.

Finally, WhatsApp is quite good for sharing big files, but I'm not sure how big.

If you have iCloud photos (most iPhone people do), then don’t attach the video, just send link to video.

In photos app, tap the Share menu, select Copy iCloud Link and paste into e-mail etc.

Thanks for those ideas.

I hope that in the morning I will have some snow scene videos to send.

Draco has it.
The trick is you DONT send the file. You link to it so they can download it.
We spent years trying to get the marketing department not to send a copy of a video to everyone via an individual email, rather than just link to it.
You really are wasting your time using all these extra programs.
