hi, I have recently been casting my eye around for a new motor and I have found a car here with outwood cars|http://www.outwoodcars.com/index.asp

the only thing that's bothering me is that it seems like a one man operation...although he does seem to have an awful lot of cars. has anyone bought a car from him? any news? insights? I don't want to buy a dog of a car just because I didn't check him out beforehand :D

by the way, this is the car|http://www.outwoodcars.com/vehicle.asp?ID=19 :cloud9:

Not heard of them, doesn't seem to be an address for a showroom/ workshop either?

hmmmmm v nice looking car. Never heard of em though, best option is to make sure you get full independent inspection on it before buying...

Serious jump up in your aspirations though minimax - sure I still can't tempt you into my 3200 before I part ex it next week for a piddling 25k? It's a lot louder than the 360 and just as quick, plus you cna bring 3 girls along (not that I've ever done tha me'lud! )

Finally - excellent colour choice - (nothing to do with the fact that my Aero is that colour of course!!)

serious jump in aspirations that is true, I had a couple of things come together recently and I decided to buy a smaller house too

I seriously like the colour, and I think it's pretty rare too. the car has had a belt change 3000 ago and looks good from some high res photos and a vitual tour i've been sent. they're based in winchester so i'm going down to view/test drive it shortly, as soon as I get my diary organised

Many specialist dealers don't publish their addresses for obvious reasons. I wouldn't be too concerned about that.

Absolutely barking mad my boy.. very well done!

I still reckon that a 348 is the ideal first Ferrari to break you into them reasonably gently though

Good move - my old mantra of why live in a mansion and drive a polo when you could live in a caravan and drive a lambo!

Think it looks gorgeous!

Do check the history carefully - I know that one of the demo spyders was that colour (check out the CAR sports car of the year issue from a while back - the 360 spyder won). IF it is that specific car probably best to find another though!!!

If you lived in a caravan and drove a Lambo, people would assume you were a gypo.

no worries, it's not a caravan i'm moving into, it's a 2 bed place instead of a 3 bed

no chance of me becoming pikeymax that's for sure

I'm still keeping the mini (big plans for it, including a truly wild engine) and I'm definitely keeping the Ginetta, I need to still be able to drive that thing!

I am getting rid of the pug 106 rally though
