I've just traded my 4200 cc - for a ..... 4200 CC (Newer, lower miles and different colour)

Went to amend my policy with Tesco and they said you'll need a tracker on that or we won't cover you for theft, now they didn't need it on my 02 car so why on this one.....

Anyway it has to be a "Thatcham approved tracker device"

Are there any other companies aside from "tracker" themselves who do these sorts of approved products? - I think there was a company who linked it to your mobile in some way ....

Any help recommendations gratefully received

Mine came fitted from new with Navtrak ADR. It come with electronic tag which the driver carries otherwise the in car system dials up Navtrak to alert its stolen. They then ring your mobile for confirmation. Stops thoses **** taking keys from the house at nite and driving away undetected.

I had an I-Mob system on my GT3 and it was great. You can disable the engine from your mobile! It is GPS based so should meet all insurance company requirements.

It's not cheap but great for peace of mind
