Hey guys
Just wanted to say hello & introduce myself as a new member, Hello!

I'm a decent petrol head & I've viewed this site for years, I just don't know why I haven't joined before?

Anyway, my current ride is a Maserati Quattroporte V with the auto 'box.
Previous rides include all M5's up to the turbo era (sorry, just can't do it)
Quattroporte IV with a manual box & V with the Duoselect.
BMW 740's, 750's & a 760
E30, E36 & E46 M3's
An AMG CL55 & an Audi S4 convertible (lovely noise, horrible car)

Most forums tend to work better with pictures & I hope this one is no different? (too late if it is, I'm sharing!)

Car looks great. I haven't seen one in the flesh for ages come to think of it.

Welcome to the forum, be aware the 'humour' here can be subjective. On which note, we have a thread for bad parking...;)

Thank you guys
I had loaded four other pictures, not too sure where they went?

shaw tarse: duly noted. I did look but there are sooo many headings to post under I thought cars would be a safe bet.

My humour will no doubt get me in trouble over a period of time so I apologise in advance!

Bad parking you say......!

A local Pistonhead, fantastic. I'll keep an eye out for you. What are the odds of joining a national(international?) forum & someone knows your favourite parking spot!

Not sure on how to inject icons into this text, nor how to upload multiple pictures. More practice required!

I had one of these for a while last year, and it was a lovely thing in the end. I'd love to know how you got on with the QPIV though! I would love one of those.

Lovely car. Which has given more wallet grief - this or the E60 M5?

Anyone can Google the street name behind the car, only locals place it in Coton without Google. wink

You might see my 306 rallye about when I can be bothered to use it again.

A QPIV and two QPVs, that's the way to do it wink

Saw a dark blue QPV in Bilton last week, but it wasn't yours, and just before Christmas I spotted a Biturbo era 430 four door parked outside the Bodyshop in Butlers Leap.

Welcome!

Welcome - your car looks stunning. thumbup

That's some car history you have too!

I have always loved QPs ever since I saw a photo of one in my 1965 Observers' Book of Cars - I know, I'm old! rolleyes

But I finally got to drive a few at a test day at Millbrook in 2008 and I've loved them even more since then. But I have no need of a large 4 door saloon, and luckily they are still out of my budget!
