Hi all,

Just wondering if PH can do its usual trick and provide answers where nobody else can?

We use Salesforce Sales Cloud at work. As of a couple of months ago, it decided it wasn't going to ever let me use more than one tab in Chrome! If I right click and go for New Tab or New Window, it just ignores me and changes the current tab instead.

Our helpdesk have never seen it before. I'm on Win 10 with both that and Chrome fully up to date. I've cleared all the SFDC cookies. Salesforce is the only site that does this. I can have multiple tabs open if I use incognito tabs, but that breaks Salesforce as it messes with cross-session cookies or some such.

Firefox works, so not urgent to resolve it, but it's bugging the hell out of me!!!!

Tried it this morning and works fine for me and can open multiple tabs.

It may be some sort of browser issue or URL issue, I'm not sure what else it could be but try the help within SF

If it is working in Incognito mode, I would be looking at the extensions in Chrome (if you have any) to see if they are causing the behaviour.

Disable all of the extensions, check to see if Salesforce now works, and then re-enable them one by one to see which one(s) break it.

You are an absolute star, thanks!!! biggrin

It turns out that it was indeed an extension causing the problem... Not just any extension either, but Salesforce's own bloody Lightning extension!!! hehe
