Legal profession gangs up on customer who left bad review
Discussion
A law firm, whose customer alleges that a firm of solicitors simply reworded his original letter and sent it back to him with a £200 bill, has him fined £25000 for calling them 'Scam solicitors' on Trustpilot.
£25,000 damages over negative TrustPilot review
One doesn't have to go far to find someone who feels the Law Society close ranks at the first sign of criticism, so is this them using the full force of the law simply because:
A. They can.
B. Someone dared criticize one of their own in a public forum?
Had the review been for any other profession or trade would he have even been found guilty, and if so, would he have received such a large fine?
