Back from the Isle of Mann
Discussion
Just got back from what was an exceedingly frustrating (and short) trip to the Isle of Mann. Needless to say the weather wasn't always on our side but for a few hours it was nice and we had a great time blasting around the TT course.
Managed to get a few shots, although this was my first attempt shooting this kind of trip so I would apreciate any feedback.

Pics are a bit small really, some of them look like they are pretty good but it's hard to tell when they are so little...
I like the one of the two cars with the sea behind, but the horizon is not straight. Also in this one you are a victim of the fact that you are shooting dark cars against a bright background, meaning the sky is exposed perfectly but the cars are very dark. There are tricks for getting around this, either with photoshop or by bracketing. (if your camera is up to it) What camera are you using by the way?
The later pictures also seem to suffer from the cars being a dark colour - they don't stand out against the dull backgrounds very much - not much I know of that you can do about that though, one of the more talented photogs would have to tell you how to shoot a dark car on a dingy day!
I'd like to see the sunset one and the action ones bigger, they look like they are nice images.

Not much I can do. Photobox does not allow access to the larger images without a login. Maybe I'll have to host them somewhere else!

Using a Canon D30. Would appreciate any tips, always looking to improve!

I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the encouragement.

Nice, I'm planning a trip there later in the year - is it as much fun as I think!!?
It is fun, assuming you don't miss the ferry because of the traffic in Liverpool. Assuming you go there for more than 24 hours. Assuming that you have nice weather. Assuming that it doesn't take you 6 hours to drive home.
