A plea for tonight BBC 4 19.00

I have a friend in the US who is interested in Fred Dibnah

He has one of his series on BBC4 tonight

I would record them but the new systems do not allow copying to DVD to send across

Is there anyone on here who has the'old technology' and could record the 12 programmes for me so i can post them over to him

( I dont know if his DVR is PAL compatable but hopefully he can get it converted

As above or you can buy the dvd box set from Amazon for around £13 or I think all the steam,steal,stone episodes are on Youtube, search for a user called Haddy75

look up a program called getiplayer

or download from here

it allows you to rip directly from iplayer to mp4

then send him the files

I've set it to record, note that it's the first of twelve episodes so I don't know how long it'll be spread over.

Let me know if some other method works out better so I can cancel / delete it.

My box has recorded nine episodes, and 24m of the tenth one, because it ran out of disk space. Are these still wanted?
