I think it looks stunning, but far too "posh" for a GT car, let alone an RS!

Looks well overdone for a GT car IMO.

Not sure about the large sub woofers and sound system under the roll cage - goes against the RS ethos of making the car lighter but the car is certainly unique and must have had a lot of £££ spent on it...

CUSTOM PAINT SUPPLIED AND RE FINISHED BY PORSCHE CENTRAL OPERATIONS

What does that mean ? Is there another colour underneath ? Where would it have been painted ?

Yep - owned by Woppum.
Was ordered and then fully stripped and fully repainted by Porsche Central Operations in Reading (so fully certified) in Volcano Orange to match his Macca P1. Basically a PTS/CCX.

Labour of love.... one of a kind. Other P-cars have come and go in his collection and this one has lasted until now.

Been looked after ?

Guess not 1 careful lady owner never tracked or driven in the rain.

Would you buy it ?

It's a GT car built for track. I don't see why anyone would have an issue with it. To do a custom paint job on a car also suggests that the owner would not skimp on anything mechanical that the car needed.

I believe the Porsche Reading process that this car has gone through is similar to the Martini painted GT2 RS.

Yes - looked after.

If I was considering 991.1 RS - it would be on the very shortlist yes.

AFAIK owner definitely does not strike me as the sort of person who'd want, let alone need to scrimp on maintenance.

Wasn't there a thread on here covering the full paint and customisation exercise?

There was I think, I am sure it will sell quickly but I think it’s expensive personally....you can’t run it under warranty and I don’t see why a bespoke paint job should add £25k to the value. Normally takes money off the value of a car like this. Think it’s being sold at a very shrewd time...not many cars around.

I wonder why he didn't sell through his OPC?.

I remember a guy called 'Woppum' on one of the forums who was having a full re-spray of a new GT3 or GT3 RS in a metallic orange colour, but I never saw the outcome. This must be the one.

I tend to agree with those that suggest it doesn't quite seem to work on an RS, and a bright solid colour would actually look better. I also dislike the white dials!
