A bit mad

Took our '04 Maserati Spyder to the Dealer today as carpets were wet, expecting reroute of Air Con drain pipe or Heater drain etc but it seems the unit has a hole in it! :confused:

Bad news is the replacements is going to take 2 weeks :mad:

Hi Mark,

Feel for you mate - That can be the main source of annoyance with Maser'se.g How long it takes to receive delivery of the parts.

It drives me mad been told to wait an additional week or so for spares.

Hope they source the parts sooner for you.

Umm have you tried other dealers - may be worth a phone around and a drive to them?

it's in bits, as in the dash etc is out in the workshops at Dick Lovett, to be fair it's not their fault and they have offered a loan car if we need one for a special occasion, oddly he didn't seem to think the sun shining in the UK was a special occasion

I'd take the offer of a loan car - 430 or 360 spyder should do the trick.

Still if its a warranty thing and the parts are in another dealer - who cares if its in bits its not your problem, cm'on man get tough!

p.s. it does suck btw !

I feel for you.

Mine is doing the same. coming back through France it flooded the car (all mats and carpets drenched). Friends thought I had the Masser Foot Spa installed.

Dealer 'fixed' it but 2 weeks later it's doing the same.

Let's hope they can fix it second time of asking.
