ECU reader no results???

i have been using an ecu reader on my chim and want to know what is displayed if there are no faults...would it be 00 or would it be blank...if i disconnect the ecu for 30 seconds and reconnect it i get an 02 error, meaning the ecu has been disconnected and there is no data, then when i take it for a spin and reconnect there are no codes...i am hoping this means there are no faults!!!

It means your ECU is broken.

i thought 29 was the code for a broken ecu...the car is running fine since i have used the ecu reader...it was telling me the tune sensor was out of range so i changed that...it runs like a dreamm but now i am not getting anything...if the ecu was broke would it not run rough?

What code readers are compatible with the ECU. I have a Snap on heritage scanner is there some way of using this to obtain codes?

not sure if the snap on one will work..i am using a land rover one

Didn't think there was a code for 'no fault' with the 14cux, which is not a great way to build a fail safe system is it .

Had a look at the links and it looks like there are no faults...so i am happy with that...its going to hexham horseless carriages next week so they can finish of the rest.

Always get 88 when I use it which is carbon fuel purge thingy apparently.

Does it matter and can I fix it?

Car running fine so I'm inclined to leave it.

got to be honest i am not sure what that is or does but shall have a poke around and see if i can find anything out...!!!
