Jag i-pace fitting 3 car seats
Discussion
Waiting to hear back from credit application for an Ipace HSE on lease. Currently have a lexus NX and space is a bit too tight in the back for 2 booster seats (6 and 9 ye old) and an ISOfix seat for a 2 year old, as the seatbelt release button can sometimes be triggered by the base of a booster seat - dangerous. Wife therefore squeezes in to the middle and eldest goes in front. Fine for short trips, less so for holidays.
Told wife next car we'll get will fit 3 across back.
Assumed Ipace would do it comfortably due to size of the thing, but dealers aren't open for me to try, no one I know has one, the Jag dealer I've been dealing with don't know either. Very little information online other than someone trying two ISOfix seats and saying a third booster in middle won't fit, but the booster seats are narrower and I only need 1 isofix. And I can't find dimensions of the rear bench shown anywhere to compare.
I know I can fit a multimac to the nx, but I want new and shiny, and the 0% bik, petrol, corp tax and vat savings makes my man maths show it to be no more expensive, so it's now or never
Anyone help? If there's a combination of seats that works I'll go for that!

I have been looking at this issue and it's actually quite difficult. We have a X5 and exactly this configuration - one isofix and two boosters and we had to get quite narrow boosters to make it work. Our X5 is an E70 and is probably now equivalent to a new X3 size-wise, the new X5 is a bit bigger.
The problem with lots of luxury cars is that the outer rear seats are typically much larger than the middle seat. The best options seem to be XC90 and Q7. I test drove a Defender recently and it would work well I think - the three rear seats are equally sized and the rear bench is not heavily bolstered (which is another problem with a lot of luxury cars).
Jag-wise, we looked a FPace and the rear bench dimensions were very similar to out X5. So I reckon it would take an isofix plus two boosters. Maybe you could ask a Jag dealer how F Pace and iPace compare. Maybe they could send you a picture of one with the seats fitted - they could use the overpriced Jaguar ones which sit in the accessories area in the showroom and which no-one will ever buy!

Thanks for suggestions. Unfortunately all Jag dealers are closer and staff WFH so can't get them to try their own branded seatals.
If anyone has an Ipace and can give a rough measurement between the 2 ISOfix points on the outer seats to get an idea of space in the middle that will give me something to compare to with the NX. If I can be 'no worse off' then I'll go for it, if it means my wife won't fit then it's a no go

3 kids here (10yrs and 7yrs x2) and I’ve narrowed my choice down to Discovery 5, XC90 or Q7. Basically I need/want as much space as possible.
All 3 have 7 seats so you can negate the need for 3 seats across the rear bench most of the time. However all 3 also have a wide enough bench for 3 seats too for those holiday trips when you need more boot space.
