Ideas for aging iPad 2....

Yes, I'm back again! All this extra time at home is giving me plenty of opportunity to work through those (I'll get round to it one day projects), one of which is investigating what to do with my old ipad.

I wanted to have it on my desk with a basic display of a couple of world time zones and maybe my calendar or the weather. Sadly its stuck on ios 9.3.5 or something and I can't download any suitable apps. I can't get my home CCTV app on it and the real kicker is that apple music won't work, which has really pissed me off.

I don't even think the duet app will work to use as an additional laptop screen for working away from home?

My thoughts turned to jalibreaking it to give me access to more apps, but there's a myriad of options and I'm concerned about security. Has anyone done a jailbreak and if so, what software did you use please?

I've got the predecessor to yours! No camera.....nothing. All I use it for reliably and smoothly is Kindle.
