Classified Ad Not as Per the Preview

Good Afternoon

I have a car advertised on PH at the mo but no matter what I try, extra text keeps appearing in the description of the car. This isn't part of the text I've submitted and it doesn't show in the preview, only when one views the ad itself. The phrase "QUATTRO 225BHP" is added to the make and model which doesn't make any sense.

Update: This is an issue with the data that we're being passed from the VRM lookup for your registration number. For some reason, this is being passed back as an Audi TT Quattro (although I can see from DVLA data that your car is as per the advert).

I would suggest contacting the classifieds support team to get a refund for your advert, and then re-list it without using the VRM entry which will stop the headline being auto-populated with data. Any issues let me know!

As a long-termer, it was a free ad. So I've just taken it down and re-listed it as you suggested and problem solved.
