An old game for sure, but one which I grabbed via Xbox Game Pass (or whatever it is called).

I can't see any other threads about but wonder if anyone else on here has played it?

It takes slow-paced to a new level and for a game that is supposed to be about hunting animals, they are very, very hard to find and shoot.

The scenery though is fantastic, and just gently wandering around listening to the sounds of nature (and then shooting at it once in a while) is rather therapeutic. We are basically talking the exact opposite of Call of Duty.

As someone who helps with local Deer cull this sounds like a very accurate simulation of real life hunting in pretty much every way!

I put a few hours into it and generally liked it. It's certainly a slow burner, but if you want to unwind for a few hours its pretty good.

Picked this up last week due to this thread as the comments suggested it was my kind of game and it turn out it very much is.

I'm a big fan of a 'walking simulator' type of game and this is essentially what this is with you pretty much just mooching about and occasionally shooting something. The game doesn't force you into having to do anything or make you take a certain path and I'm a big fan of that, you just do what you want at your own pace and it's incredibly relaxing.
