What is this plastic clip for?

Just had my Q3 RS in for some new tyres. Got home and found the following plastic clip, or at least it looks like one, inside the boot. Hade a rummage around the underfloor compartments and can't figure out what it is for ..

Oops - yes that makes sense. Thanks. Don't think i've every used a 'tool' to do this before!
