I keep a register of all the UK Grigio Titanio VH Vantages (MY 2009 on).

Have noticed two (possibly recent) entries on the Roll Call.
Perhaps two of the cars have new owners.

If you wish, please just post the 1st registration dates and I should then be able to give you some history.

Can I ask why from MY 2009 onwards?

You have caught me out! - Laziness.

Vantage production numbers were considerably reduced after the 4.7 was introduced (financial crisis 2008), so having to repeatedly monitor the for sale lists, was much easier using that cut-off point.
Eventually it was established that there are only 19 UK cars. 7 V8 Coupes, 7 V8 Roadsters, 1 V12 Coupe and 4 V12S Coupes.
I think there might be a greater number of 4.3 Grigio Titanio cars in the UK.

Is your car Grigio Titanio, David?
Would you like to start a 4.3 Grigio Titanio register? If you would, AML might be helpful and start you off with some information.

Do you know a way of finding any 951 and brookesy forum posts? I don't think the PH search system helps at all.
Their cars might not be UK versions.

Yes, my car is also Grigio Titanio, 2007.

I agree the search function is not as good as it could be. Sorry I can't help further.

Thank you David.

You have chosen a great colour, very suited to the Vantage.
A mid-grey, which turns silver in sunshine.

I have this colour on my F12. Looks fantastic in the sunshine.

Really beautiful, Chris.
Of course it is a Ferrari colour.

As a technology gentleman, have you any idea how I can find PH posts or user profiles, of the two people mentioned ?
If they happen to be UK based, I will already know about their cars.
If overseas, then it does not involve my register.

Thanks.

I'm the very proud owner of one of the 7 V8 Roadsters.

As mentioned, it's a lovely colour that really comes alive in the sunshine.

A couple of gratuitous photos....

Thank you very much Scrump.

I don't know how you managed that, but most helpful.
Both PHers are UK based, so I can now send PMs to offer history information about their cars, if they would like to know.

Cheers.

Looking perfect Kevin.
Were you able to enjoy some roof down drives, between the lockdowns?

My own Vantage has probably been feeling lonely recently. It only has the trickle charger for company! Winter hibernation began in November.
Even before that, the pandemic only enabled me to do 200 miles last year. Let's hope the vaccines can gradually return some normality to life.

Yes , indeed I was !

At the start of September we managed to do a lovely Scottish road trip. Keeping things relatively local and allowed within the restrictions at the time smile We covered parts of the NC500 route as well as other areas. Just over 1000 miles in all.

May be a dumb question, but is Grigio Titanio a different colour to Titanium? I'd always assumed the 2nd was just anglicised term for the first, but I now suspect not???

They are different colours, geresey.

Grigio Titanio is a Ferrari colour. As you will know, Aston Martin offer an unlimited colour choice to new customers at various different additional costs.

Grigio Titanio began to be requested by customers, not sure when but I think in the NP Vanquish era.
Eventually, Aston Martin introduced Titanium Silver (was it a no extra cost colour ?). Titanium is similar to Grigio, so after that point fewer Grigio cars were ordered.

I wonder if Aston Martin have to pay a royalty to Ferrari, each time they paint a car Grigio Titanio ?

I think AM Titanium Silver is quite a lot lighter than Grigio Titanio.

There is another Ferrari colour that I've seen on a couple of Astons called Grigio Alloy. It is lighter, with a blue tinge and in some ways similar to Skyfall and is another lovely colour. Any Grigio Alloy Aston owners out there with pictures to show us?

Thanks. And to next poster too... I thought from the photos that the Grigio Titanio may be slightly darker than Titanium.

Mine is Grigio Alloy and if I can remember how to post a photo (it's been a few years!), I will do so.
