Vauxhall definitely, possibly a Wyvern.
Edited to add, either that or the 6 cylinder Velox. I don't know if there were any visible differences.

Interesting pic. Road Census on the A5 at Atherstone, in connection with scheme for a new by-pass of the town. The queue of cars are travelling north at the check point. 1951.
