Hi,

Does anyone have a decent cheap tablet that they use mostly for Youtube?

My old Ipad has finally given up the ghost but I don;t really want to splash out for a new one just for that.

Everything else is done on phone/computer.. so it's the only thing I really use the Ipad for now..

So yeah...recommendations please...smile

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10". Currys had them for just £169.

The screen is prone to fingerprints and the camera is rubbish. Fine for Zoom, but not pictures. Good quality screen and perfect for internet surfing and YouTube.

It has expandable memory using a SD card and still has the 3.5mm headphone jack. The onboard speakers aren't bad either.

You won't get better value for money.

10 inch and £110, on Android 10 which is probably the most up-to-date android tablet you can buy.
Expandable storage too.

The Samsung is also Android 10. The screen on the Samsung should be much better given the resolution differences.

if it is simply for Youtube then yeh one of the Firetablets. I've got the old 7HD 2018 model I think, simply use it on trains to watch stuff on so I can keep my phone screen clear.

FireOS is a little clunky and slow but does the job, I have however removed as much FireOS as possible and installed Google Play.

Not a lover of the Fire Tablets, but for the OP's needs it's hard to argue against a Fire HD10 ... especially as it's on offer at £110 at the moment:

The 64GB is only £140.

The Fire HD8 is only £80 (£110 for 64GB):
