The chrome window trims on my V8 Vantage seem to be mis-aligned, has anyone else had or have this issue?

Also, the door seal towards the top of the door seems to protruding out, is this normal?

Thanks,

Adam

Think it’s common
I have it a bit and seen on others too
Can’t work out a solution really.
Can’t move the rear trim down or lift up the door.
Is annoying though

It's not unusual, but the trim should fit better than that, I think it can be adjusted -- guessing it needs to be removed and refitted. The door seal looks pretty normal to me.

On the door, they just pull upwards. Quite tight, but I removed mine with my fingers to clean the gunk from the felt that rubs against the glass.

Looking at the images, the rear glass seems to high ?

Try placing a length of wood along the length and gently tapping with a hammer to see if it goes down.

The door window isn't flush with the glass behind it, does anyone know a way to adjust this?

I can get the trim to line up but is still sticking out? I read about the rubber hardening but not sure how this can affect it?

Thanks,

Try a window reset - could be the windows don’t drop a couple of mm on opening and raise on closing, thereby having the widow sitting incorrectly in the aperture. To check whether it needs this, close the door with the window down, then raise it all the way and see how it sits.

I have done the window reset, the window is dropping when the handle is pulled, no problems there.

The rear glass trim was a bit high, I've moved it down a little and now everything lines up much better. The main issue is the flushness of the trim. Even the top of the door isn't perfectly flush with the rear wing.

If I adjust the door strike plate a little inwards will this pull the door tighter?

Cheers
