shove Tuesday/pancake day 2021
So whats on yours?
Lets see your pancakes.
My batter is made an resting in the fridge ready for the pancake feast later.
Recipe
3.2.1 method
1x Egg
200g Flour (plain)
300ml Milk
pinch of salt
Mix together (single cream consistency) and rest in the fridge for at least 20 mins
Toppings
Sugar and Lemon
Nutella and Banana
Nutella and strawberries
Cheese and Ham
over to you

When I was a lad we would quarter some oranges and squeeze the juice out onto the pancake and sprinkle over some sugar. At the time I though that was the only method. Then someone comes along and invents spreadable chocolate!!

I'm doing bacon, onion and cheese later. I'll pre-cook the onion and bacon and chop up. When I make the pancakes I put some bacon and onion in the pan and cook for a minute or so, then add the pancake mixture, and add a bit of cheese when almost cooked.
