We stayed in a place called Stoney Stratford just outside Milton Keynes, I think it was The Cock Inn. Good pub/hotel which was being used by a lot of the media guys it might be worth a try. Then it was a short drive in through the back lanes which we had sought out the night before.
There's a few places in Towcester. There's also the Crossroads, the Globe and the Heart of England in Weedon. These normally have loads of GP folks in them. Failing that there's loads in Northampton. It takes about 20 mins to get to the circuit from there.
