Mazda cx30 owners opinions

Anyone got one? What do you think?
Looking for replacement for 2.0 Yeti for towing my caravan, was looking at X1, Tiguan, Karoq, Ateca.
Petrol and 4x4.

Can't help but I'm interested in this as my wife fancies one of these for her next car.

From what I've seen they look great, especially the interior. We are looking at the 2.0 petrol 180bhp. Reviews mention the lack of torque compared to other turbo options and that you have to work it to get any performance. That's fine by me but I guess you'd be wanting a diesel if it's going to be a tow car?

Had to give up on the CX30 as the towing capacity is too low 1200kg
Don't know why so low, even my other 1.2 Yeti is 1200kg and the 2.0 is 2000kg must be weight of the vehicle.

And no ChrisH27 I don't want a diesel, the reason I'm getting rid of the Yeti is to get a petrol as it's not doing enough miles.

N/A petrol would be awful as a tow car anyway I'd imagine.

The other VAG options, particularly Skoda's seem to do very well I'm group tests. But the Volvo would be fine as well, surely a bit more expensive though?

My partner drives a CX30, had it since September and she loves it (i am fairly fond also). It is the 180hp petrol in GT Sport trim and it is well built, with a great level of equipment.

Despite it being a great car, I wouldn't buy one for your uses...the Petrol engines power delivery wouldn't work for towing.
