Air ticket refund request...Jetstar/Qantas

I wouldn’t usually post here but trying to help a friend.
Currently holding a credit from Jetstar from May 2020.
They paid directly, no agents involved.
I’ve looked at all of the TaC’s and buried in there there is a way to request a cash payment but it just goes around in circles.
Does anyone have a cheeky number to call to ask for a refund?
Friend is really struggling and the money would really make a difference. It’s ‘only’ $300 Australian but would make a big difference for a single parent.
I’m also posting on PPrune but would prefer if PH could help?
