And not an MG. It’s a Diahatsu Midget 2 - I bought on a bit of a whim, as never seen one before to use for advertising. Needs some recommissioning I’m probably going to repaint it- very low miles sub 10k km .. Does anyone know much about these wacky little things?!?

I’d love some nicer wheels for it if anyone knows where I’d find some that would fit..

I absolutely love that. In the past I have travelled to South Korea and Japan so well aware of the use of funky little utility vehicles like this but wow, this is new to me. Tell us more, where did you find it and all that jazz?

What a brilliant little vehicle. Have you got a commercial use for it? Or is it just for fun?

That would be the mutts nuts. biggrin

It seems removal of the spare wheel cover doesn't help with aero.

We got one to go over 190mph by pushing it with another car using 2 player mode.

Is the front track wider than the rear?

Looks awesome - used to pass one for sale at a garage c20 years ago I think!

Minus 7.
But you can add an extra front impact point by overinflating the spare tyre.
What a weird and cool pick-very-little-up.

Ha ha there's a lot of love for the midget it seems.

Bought it to use for my recently open storage company, the plan is to have a scaled down shipping container on the back and sign written up etc..so seeing Clifford's picture with the semi-trailer has amplified that idea a little!

The plan initially was to repaint it yellow, but seeing it in the flesh it'll be getting repainted in the original jade green

I'll add more pics and keep this thread updated with progress

A light strip down has commenced, new alternator, aux belt, couple of lower arm bushes and it’ won’t be far off MOT time, giving the rear axle, leaf springs etc a quick repaint

And ordered up a set of plates
