Just got back from France where the beasty performed faultlessly for 1600 miles.

Absolutely fantastic response to the car wherever we went, French waiters coming up and wanting to know all about it, a group of Americans in Honfleur getting very excited about it and thumbs up and long stares everywhere we went! One Fench guy staying at a Chateau we were at near Le Mans told me he had a 911 at home but that he would love a TVR.

It was noticeable that lots of windows were being wound down as we passed other cars.

Saw one other Tiv, an S3 I think between Tours and Le Mans last Saturday.

Vive Le TVR!

Pic is in front of the Domaine de La Tortiniere, south of Tours. An excellent place to stay.

Though not the first time they had seen a Tuscan, here's a view from the rear of the Chateau:

We love this place, it's seen a couple of Chims over the years as well. Great food!

The head waiter said that they had seen another TVR there last year. Was that you?

The food was excellent.

Yes we were there in June last year. Had thought about taking the car around to the front as it would make a good photo, as we can see in yours!

We've stayed there a few times on our way north or south through France as its a reasonable drive to or from Calais.

Could not agree more - Le Mans trip proved that with people coming out all over the village we stayed in to take photos and say "J'adore"....

We always have a nice trip to France.

I think his name was Jacques if that's any help. Jacques with a 911? French bloke? You must know him.

Nice photo! Maybe we should arrange a trip there in the autumn with a few Tuscans to line them up at the front. Would make a great photo! Could do Le Mans on the way down/back.

I like the cut of your gib young man.

I reckon M. Oliverau may be persuaded to do a deal for a load of Tuscans as well.

This place, north of LM is also worth a visit. Chateau Monhoudou. We spent 2 nights there. They have dinners around one large table, like a big dinner party with lots of booze. Great fun.

Phenomenal response to our cascade violet Tuscan S the week leading up to Le Mans in the Loire Valley. Chap in the bright yellow Ferrari Enzo looked a bit upset when a group of French lads bypassed his car to take piccies of ours!!!!
